Hello, my name is Leticia, and I have been working as a people & payroll assistant for a consultancy (construction industry) for 7 months. I studied the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice with ICS, and I started my journey with them in April 2022, and I finished it in April this year.
I decided to study with ICS because they guaranteed a price match, I was able to pay in interest-free instalments, and Paul Martin was really patient and knowledgeable, and he helped me with all the questions I had before joining.
Since English is my second language and this was the first time that I had decided to study here in the UK, I had reservations with the whole ‘studying online and by yourself’ bit, as I was afraid I was not going to manage and not have the support I needed to complete my studies.
Even though it is really up to each individual to plan how they are going to find time and create a routine to study, ICS Learn has some materials that help you with that.
As mentioned before, because I had no previous work experience in HR, I thought starting with the level 3 was really helpful, and even though it was challenging, it made sense what I was studying once I found a job as a people & payroll assistant.
I would recommend ICS Learn because they offer great and unlimited tutor support, as well as give you the flexibility to study online at your own pace. You get help in the whole process from beginning to end, and once you finish your studies, they give you a deadline so you know what is going to happen and when you should receive your certificate.
Take the next step in your career with an online CIPD qualification!
