PRINCE2® FoundationProject Management

You don't need any experience or qualifications to enrol on this introductory PRINCE2 course, but some experience of working with a project environment would be helpful. 

If you already hold a project management qualification, you might be able to skip this level and go straight to the advanced PRINCE2 Practitioner course.

If English is your second language, we recommend you have an IELTS 6.5/ESOL Level 2 or equivalent, but we're happy to review your case on an individual basis.

Your course is fully online, delivered through engaging bite-sized lessons and interactive exercises.

You'll learn the essentials of the PRINCE2 method, allowing you to work confidently within PRINCE2 projects and advance to PRINCE2 Practitioner.

You'll be assessed through a secure 60-minute online proctored exam.

You'll answer 60 questions and need 33/60 correct to achieve the 55% pass mark.

PRINCE2 Practitioner will teach you to adapt and apply the PRINCE2 framework to varied projects and allow you to become a registered PRINCE2 Practitioner.

You'll also be eligible if you hold one of the IPMA member associations' equivalent qualifications, including:

Association for Project Management (APM):

• APM Project Management Qualification (equivalent to IPMA Level D)

International Project Management Association USA (IPMA USA):

• IPMA USA Certified Project Management Associate (equivalent to IPMA Level D)

PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner Combined is ideal for PRINCE2 beginners who want to become fully registered Practitioners and save money by studying both courses in one.

PRINCE2 qualifications (Foundation & Practitioner) are valid for 3 years after successfully passing your exam.

You will be required to renew your certification – which can be done in any of the following ways:

• Retake the same exam: You can choose to renew your certification by re-taking your original exam before the renewal date. 
• Take further courses and certifications: You can choose to renew your certification by attending another course and taking an exam within the same product suite before the renewal date.
• You will be able to choose to renew your certification by collecting and logging CPD points.
